RECOMMENDED PLACEMENT AND TREATMENT

WITH MORTAR (CEMENT AND SAND)

We recommend that the tile pieces be submerged in water until they are saturated. Then, once drained, the tiles can be installed.
It is especially important that the tiles are levelled when putting them in place, as they cannot be adjusted later on (as would be the case with terrazzo).
Once the tile is in place, immediately proceed to applying the supplied grout, making sure to fill in all of the joints. Then, carefully remove the excess grout on the surface with a scouring brush or similar tool.

WITH TILING CEMENT

We recommend using white adhesive tiling cement, which is flexible and thick application (2.5–3.0 mm). The tile pieces are placed dry.
Then follow the same recommendations as indicated for placement with mortar (Cement and Sand).

NOTE: Initially, once the tiles have been positioned, you may notice a shadow or saline film on the tile pieces from humidity. Once the tile is fully dry, we recommend a thorough cleaning and application of the recommended treatment, following the indicated technical instructions.

UNTIL THE RECOMMENDED TREATMENT HAS BEEN COMPLETED, IT IS ADVISABLE TO COVER THE TILE PAVING SO THAT IT DOESN’T GET DIRTY.
